In a recent report titled,, a new treatment for patients who have suffered from heartburn for more than two years,, a program to help you save money on your medications, and a generic version of a popular prescription drug, is being tested in the U. S.
The study, which was co-sponsored by AstraZeneca, was published in the New England Journal of Medicine in. The drug, Nexium, works by blocking the release of certain hormones that are linked to gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), by suppressing the production of the hormones esophageal secretory acid in the stomach. Esomeprazole is the active ingredient in Nexium. Esomeprazole is taken for up to eight days for the treatment of acid reflux, or heartburn. Esomeprazole works in your body by reducing stomach acid secretion, allowing for a more comfortable and full stomach. Nexium is a prescription drug and you are paying out of pocket for the treatment of your heartburn, which is the most common condition in which you have to take Nexium. The medication is usually taken for about four weeks at a dose of 20 mg and up to four days at a dose of 40 mg. Nexium is available in the U. as a generic, which makes it easy to get the medication you need, without having to worry about the cost of the medication. This makes it a great choice for patients who have difficulty with their heartburn or for those who are sensitive to the side effects of Nexium. The Nexium treatment for heartburn was shown to be effective in preventing heartburn and improving symptoms of heartburn in over 100 patients.
The results of this study, which included more than 100 patients in the U. S., have shown the drug to be safe and effective for up to 8 weeks in most of the patients in the study, and is now expected to be available to patients in the U. in the near future.
The study was funded by AstraZeneca, a U. S.-based biotechnology company. The study was led by the University of Texas Medical Branch and was supported by the National Heart Foundation, a nonprofit national foundation for heartburn prevention, and the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. The funders had no role in study design, data collection and analysis, decision to publish or preparation of the manuscript.
